15 Minute Learning Series
Designed to be the texts for a series of seminars, these works allow the reader to digest a large amount of information in a short, light-hearted format. Each work specifically examines limited aspects of subject, thought, or a given thinker to allow the reader to have a continuous thread of understanding as well as a foundation for future exploration without a lot of extraneous material. Let us just think of this as a bunch of intellectual teasers to spur further investigation. In addition, some works contain sections of public domain texts appropriate to the chapter to provide a 'feel' for the actual thought or subject.
Each work does require the facilitator to have some knowledge of the subject matter (philosophy and philosophers or theology and theologians) in order to guide any discussion or explanation.
This series is a work in progress, and is based in lunch-time discussions initially known as 'Food for Thought' (though really, I am not sure if it is a fair exchange as the food was better) and evening Adult Education classes.
As such, the author takes full responsibility for editorial deficiencies and then immediately shirks those responsibilities -- caveat emptor.
