Aug 21st - Pius X

Not sure that Pius was/is a controversial figure but that people have made it so. 
Rather than allow saints to point the way to Jesus they make them pawns of their own agendas.
Let us remind ourselves of who we serve - and as a hint, it is not ourselves.
So, as Bono of U2 said about The Beatle's "Helter Skelter", “This is the song Charles Manson stole from The Beatles; we’re stealing it back.”
Let us steal back saints from those who would misuse their lives for their own ends.

Indeed, who could fail to be moved by those many passages in the psalms which set forth so profoundly the infinite majesty of God, his omnipotence, his justice and goodness and clemency, too deep for words, and all the other infinite qualities of his that deserve our praise?
